Hotel Dampfmühle This hotel, owned by the Sauer family, has been offerd to our guests since the beginning of 2003. The hotel is situated among the vineyards, a little way away from the centre of the village in a side valley of the River Mosel. Meals may be taken either in the restaurant or on the romantic terrace, surrounded by vines. The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded by grass where you can relax with a drink after your walks. With a combination of high quality food and excellent wines, this is the ideal place for a holiday in the Mosel Valley. |

Some suggested walks for this holiday Walk 1. Follow the Mosel Heights Trail south to Traben-Trarbach. Cross the river and return to Enkirch via the Mount Royal vineyards and the foot ferry (about 7 miles). Walk 2. Follow the Mosel Heights Trail north to Zell. Cross the river and walk through vineyards to the ferry to Briedel and back to Enkirch (about 12 miles). Walk 3. Explore some of the local paths through the vineyards, or the bird nature trail. Walk 4. Follow the river north to Burg, then return through the vineyards with views from above the river (about 7 miles). |
