Walking Holidays in the Mosel Valley

The Mosel valley, flowing between the Eifel and Hunsrück massifs, is one of Europe's premier wine growing areas. The dramatically steep and curved slopes are covered with vines, while elsewhere the terrain is quite rugged. The area has a long history, with many, now often ruined, castles and picturesque towns.

While a very popular area for visitors, as soon as you strike off on foot away from the river you find yourself among peaceful vineyards. Climb a little further and you are in superb wooded and rocky landscapes.

The Mosel Valley - Enkirch
A six night Single Centre Holiday
Vines have grown on the Mosel since Roman times. Paths take you through and above the vineyards with fabulous views across the valley. The terrain and most of the gradients are fairly gentle, making the Mosel Valley a perfect place for a relaxing walking holiday.
