| The Hotel Bärenstüberl The Hotel Bärenstüberl is a superior 3* hotel out in the country and perfectly situated for the walker and other active holidaymakers. The hotel also has a nearby annexe with cheaper rooms for those on a budget. The Ausserstorfer family will welcome you and advise on your holiday while you stay with them. The hotel has both a swimming pool and a sauna, which you can use free of charge. |
Some suggested walks for this holiday Walk 1. Take the cable car to the top of the Jenner (5700 ft). There is a choice of routes back to the valley, often steep, but not exposed and not difficult. The views are spectacular. Walk 2. Boat along the lake to St. Bartholomä. For a gentle stoll explore the valley up to St. Peter and St. Paul; for a full days walk follow the shore, then through the mountains to the Fundsee. Walk 3. Walk into Berchtesgaden along a dense network of paths through pre-alpine meadows. Walk 4. Boat on the lake to Salet. Walk up to the isolated Obersee, then up the valley to Fischunkel Alm. |
